November 8 –  HAUUS member Bert Brown will lead our exploration into The Many Faces of Love. Synonyms for love, the different meanings and kinds of love will be included in the discussion.

November 22Thanksgiving Explored- Today we will explore our thoughts and feelings about Thanksgiving. We will discuss such things as what it means, how important it is or isn’t and how it relates to the “first Thanksgiving. What are our ideas about Thanksgiving today?

December 13Faith Amidst Prosthetic Culture -UU roots are found in Puritan Calvinism.   The strategy we use for our personal and church life operate within the ‘prostheses’ of popular culture.  Discussion will involve how we handle zeal of social movements that deny our personal losses and the fear that we cannot live outside the contrived dimensions of everyday life. Tim Bancroft will lead our discussion.

December 20Festival of the Lights -We will be looking at the world’s great religions and their festivals at this time of the year that celebrate light. We will explore some other aspects of light and how it impacts our lives.
