Cakes for the Queen of Heaven is a study about the rewriting of history which tried to erase any memory of female power.  Cakes is a journey of history with poetry, music and the mythology of women and religion through the ages. Cakes has been redesigned from the original 10 session course written by Dr. Shirley Ann Ranck, a UU minister, to 5 sessions. Nicole Tolbert will be the facilitator of the course.  Please share your email address with her so she can put together a list of those interested in participating.

We will have our Annual Meeting on April 23rd.  Please bring a dish to pass and your own table service and beverage.  A slate of officers has been proposed as follows;

Co-Presidents – Cherlyd Emmons and George Smith

Secretary – Nicole Tolbert

Treasurer – Sally Hopkins

Unofficial positions include Suzanne Miller for music and opening up the building and Sharon Saker and Penny Whitford for the Newsletter and Programming. Nominations can also be taken from the floor.
